His supervision of NAMPAP and the plumbing profession is like that of a father to a son. He treats every Master with tender, loving and cares. He is always present not only in convention and conferences of NAMPAP and the PSPE but also in other related activities of the APO whether it’s professional or social in character.
He is the pioneering member of the American Society of Plumbing Engineer and also the man and power behind the organization of the PSPE. Very evidently, he put more than 50% of his time effort and wealth in pushing forward the development of plumbing profession. He was the moving spirit and unsung hero of the revision of Plumbing Code which was signed into law in 1999 which bring back the honor, prestige and appropriateness of the practice of plumbing solely to Master Plumbers who will soon be called Plumbing Engineers. An organization man with fear of God above self. Engr. Amosco was officer/member of the Philippines Society of Mechanical Engineers (PSME), Integrated Institute of Electrical Engineers, Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE), NAMPAP, PSPE, National Pollution Control of the Philippines, Water Environment Federation Tech USA and the American Society of Plumbing Engineers.

To date, we are honored to have him President of PSPE simply because we knew him as a man of action and few words. This is apart from the honors and awards bestowed upon him such as Outstanding Professional of the Year (PRC 1997), Outstanding Employee of Isarog Pulp in 1979 and Outstanding Alumni in the field of Civil Engineering at the Aquinas University. Unde his term, PSPE is assured of success, for failure is one option that Engr. Fortunato H. Amosco never knew and recognized.
